What do i do when the acetone doesn't work on removing solar nails?

I've tried soaking for an hour and all that happens is my skin burns.What do i do when the acetone doesn't work on removing solar nails?
You may have a UV gel top coat on them. In this case, you need to file it off the acrylic before soaking them. Use a 150-180 grit file, and simply file the entire surface of the nails until the top coat is gone. Try to avoid over filing so you don't damage your natural nails...
