Hello,

There is no difference really. Solar nails are pink and white acrylics (poink acrylics on the nail bed and white acrylics on the tips to make a permenant french manicure). The Solar powder is made by Creative Nail. They are just acrylic nails. I don't think they are any better for your nails than any other acrylic and most times when you ask for solor nails, you are just getting pink and white acrylcs unless the jars are actually labeled Solar Nail by CND.

They need to be filled the same rate as regular acrylics but because there is no polish applied, you can wait longer between fills.

I recommend getting uv gel nails from a qualified nail technician usuing real gels not so called ';powder gel'; they try to sell you but is really acrylic.

If gel nails are applied correctly, they will never lift and last longer between fills. You can go from 3-5 weeks between fills if you need to.

Hope that helped a little.
