Difference between solar and acrylic nails?

besides the price...Difference between solar and acrylic nails?
The term Solar nails typically refers to pink %26amp; white acrylic nails. Unfortunately, many people seem to think that solar nails are some new form of nails - something better than acrylic - longer lasting and stronger than acrylic but this is a false assumption since solar nails are acrylic nails. SolarNail is an acrylic product line which was manufactured by Creative Nail Design, now known simply as CND. SolarNail was first introduced in the late 1970's by CND, and was used extensively by nail professionals for many years until newer, and better acrylic technologies were introduced by CND and other professional acrylic nail product companies - at which time it more or less became outdated and many nail techs stopped using it. The SolarNail powders are still available today - as well as some consumer SolarNail products such as CND's Solar Oil and a few other products. But, the original SolarNail monomer (the 'liquid') is no longer available. This was removed from production by CND about a year ago. Thus, if you are told that by a nail tech that they are using CND SolarNail acrylic liquid and powders, they are not being truthful with you. True, they may be using CND SolarNail powders, but they are not using SolarNail liquid since it is no longer available.

OK, enough of the technical trivia, LOL!

The bottom line is this - plain and simply stated!

Solar nails ARE acrylic nails. Period.

I hope this helps!Difference between solar and acrylic nails?
Nothing really it is just the price, solar nails are creative nails which are still acryllic nails. That said some people swear by creative products I personally wasnt overwhelmed by them apart from their cuticle oil (solar oil) which is by far the best I've tried.
