Is it normal for solar nails to hurt the first couple of days you get them?

i got my nails done on chrsitmas eve and they hurt all that day and all of christmas!

today, finally they don't hurt, but is it normal? Is it normal for solar nails to hurt the first couple of days you get them?
No, they are not supposed to hurt. The tech did something wrong, and that is the reason they hurt. He/she probably over filed your natural nails when applying them. I'm betting you went to a discount salon, right? I'm only saying that because they are the only ones who use the term ';solar nails.' In American salons, they are called 'Pink %26amp; Whites.'

Anyway, maybe next time go to a better salon. One that knows how to do nails the right way?

Yeah, thumbs down! Can't stand the truth? Is it normal for solar nails to hurt the first couple of days you get them?
Im with Cattygirl all the way, Solar nails is a term used by the cheap, rush you in and out, dont care if your in pain chopshops. My advice? Stay well away from those types of salons, go to a salon that takes about a hour to a hour 30 to do your nails, charges a little more, does a proper consultation with you, has their certificates and qualifications on display, makes sure that you are comfortable and that the service doesn't cause you any pain, and has a cleaning/ sanitizing procedure in place, among other things.
yes its normal

it happens to me all the time
