No. So-called ';Solar Nails'; usually refers to Pink %26amp; Whites, or Permanent French nails. It is nothing new. A company called Creative Nail Design first introduced a 'SolarNail' product line back in the late 1970's. It is still being made today, though very few techs use it. Nowadays, this name has been being used by 'Discount' salons who usually try to make it sound as though you are getting some new and wonderful product. This is NOT true. It is simple: 'Solar' Nails = Acrylic nails. They are one and the same thing. Don't let anyone try to tell you differently. Its just a gimmick used by the discount salons to make more money. They are the usual acrylic P%26amp;W's, and nothing more. BTW, avoid discount salons!


Also, you will have to look hard to find techs who apply glitter tips in different colors, including purple. Although many do it, they are just not common. Don't let a tech just paint this on. When done properly, it is done by the use of colored acrylics mixed with glitters, mylar, or a few other things can be used as well. Only a skilled tech who is experienced in doing this should be doing your nails with this method. Look around, make some calls. They can be. They have solar and acrlic nails. You can get the glitter tips on either. The solar lasts a little longer and they cost a little more. Either way you can get the glitter tips just tell them what you want up front.
